Children’s Residential Team Leader
Location: Liverpool
Pay: £14.50/hr + £68 per sleep-in
Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off or 1 on / 2 off

We’re looking for confident, compassionate, and motivated Team Leaders to support and guide our teams in providing exceptional care to young people aged 8–17.
You’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing, safe, and structured home environment for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), trauma backgrounds, and complex needs. As a Team Leader, you’ll lead by example — supporting staff, implementing care plans, and ensuring every young person receives the consistent, high-quality support they deserve.

Requirements and benefits

Requirements
We’re looking for individuals who are:
Experienced in residential childcare (minimum of 2 years preferred)
Strong leaders who can motivate and support a team
Confident in managing challenging situations with calmness and professionalism
Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
Excellent communicators with strong organisational skills
Essential:
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
Flexibility to work a rolling rota including sleep-ins
Commitment to completing leadership and management development training
Desirable:
Supervisory or senior experience within a children’s residential setting
Full UK driving licence
